It's confirmed. I AM swapping to Wordpress.

Hey peeps. I'm starting to get used to wordpress, so I decided to swap. I'll continue blogging, just on Wordpress instead of Blogger. I will post all of what I usually post here, on my Wordpress blog. The only thing I'm going to post on this blog is walkthroughs. All the walkthrough links on my new blog will re-direct you to here. Because of this i'm not deleting this blog! Other than that, click here to go to my new site! I'll also add another link on the right side bar.

Should I change to wordpress...or not?

Hey all! I have just made a wordpress account and started to remake my blog. But it was so hard! I reckon I should stick with Blogger! But I might change the name of my blog to Dafster's walkthrough universe! What do you think? Oh.. Wait... brainstorm here... Aha! I have an idea! I'll just post the pictures in my posts on Word press as I can't do that on blogger with my iPod touch! So if you must see a picture, then click on this link: walkthroughuniverse.wordpress.com

Sweedish chef and Popcorn

Yo guys! Thought I'd share this cool little video with you! Check it out!

For those who like that song and don't know what it is, it's called Popcorn. And no the muppets didn't make it.

Binary bard is a bad dancer (fun little fact for you there!)

Hey peeps! Just thought I'd let you know that I'm the first on the Internet to mention this PCB post! (apart from the PCB of course!) Anyway, here it is:

Getting to know you
The robot and I eyed one another warily. It seemed we were each waiting for the other to make the first move. After a few moments of awkward silence, I attempted to break the ice with a joke.

"Why was six afraid of seven?" I asked.

(Dramatic pause.)

"Because seven eight nine!"
Success! The robot grinned. Clearly he was programmed to understand humor. Maybe he was capable of other emotions, as well.

Perhaps this little robot would be impressed, or even moved, by the arts. I don't often admit this, but I've got something of a background in dance (three years of jazz, six years of modern). Hoping to entrance the robot with my charm and grace, I busted out some acrobatic maneuvers, finishing with a flurry of high-leg kicks.
Not exactly the reaction I was hoping for.

Pride got the better of me. "I'd like to see you do better!" I huffed. "Stupid robot."
And then, well -- the robot did something better.

Ccounterfeit island walkthrough

Counterfeit island walkthrough

Step 1. So start off by going into the Internet cafe and grabbing that loose sheet of paper from the dictionary. Then exit.

Step 2. Jump on top of the moldy Baguette inn and on one of the window sills, grab the piece of paper.

Step 3. Jump up to the very top o the museum roof where you'll find another piece of paper. Pick it up.

Step 4. Go right and into the Bobo's clown store. Grab the green balloon then exit.

Step 5. Keep going right until you find a trashcan. Click on it and drag all the trash out of the way until you find some tickets. Grab them.

Step 6. Go right to the country side and give the boy your green balloon. He should float away.

Step 7. Go back to the Internet cafe and talk to the tourist. Use your tickets and he'll give you one.

Step 8. Go to the underground tunnel tours and use your tickets. Enter the tunnel and keep following through it until you find a light. Climb up the light and grab the sheet of paper. Then exit the tunnel.

Step 9. You'll find a man outside the tunnel. He'll tell you to get a job at the museum and meet him when night falls. Go to the museum and talk to the guy to get a job. He'll tell you to go and see the curator. Go up the stairs and talk to the curator. He'll give you the job if you can find the right spots for the mixed up paintings.

Step 10. Go to the bottom right wing of the building and click the third painting. You should now be carrying the painting. Go to the bottom left wing and click the middle painting. Now go up to the upper left wing and click the middle one. Next go to the upper right wing and click the third one. Finally go back to the bottom right wing and click where the third painting should be. Go back up and talk to the assistant currator, who will hire you for the job. Enter the forgery detection lab, and talk to the assistan currator again. He will tell you to choose a station.

Step 11. At the first station, scan all the paintings until you find the one with the drawing on it. In the next activity, click on the middle painting to state that the signature is fake. Time to move on to the chemicals station. For each paint sample, when the red meter gets to a box, the box turns a certain color. All you have to do is click the color above that it turns into. You must stay alert and react fast enough, or you will have to restart. Once this is done you'll get a key to go to the supply room.

Step 12. Exit the forgery detection lab and go into the other door where more paintings are. Keep going left until you get to the security office/ supply room. Enter the supply room using the key and grab the piece of paper.

Step 13. Exit the museum and go to where the man told you to meet. But first, pick up the piece of paper from the ship. Talk to the man and he'll tell you to enter the tunnel.

Step 14. Walk past the man and grab the final piece of paper. Then enter the tunnel. Keep walking through the tunnel until you get to the ladder. Climb up the ladder and click on the door. Make that Dragon look like the one on your sheets of paper and press the button. Then enter.

Step 15. Carefully walk past the security office and into the room with the lasers. Hide behind plants to avoid the lasers and enter the final room.

Step 16. Click on the screen to protect it, but then the security alarm goes off and you get arrested!

Step 17. The next day... take the lie detector quiz and answer truthfully. Then go to the museum and into the security office. Click on the computer to the right. Watch the footage for 10 seconds, then go to Bobo's clown store.

Step 18. Talk to the security guard and he'll give you a time card. Go back to the security office and click on the right computer. Watch the footage again, only this time you'll find the culprit! The mysterious man! Print a screenshot.

Step 19. Exit the museum and visit the mimes. Show them the screen shot and they'll start making musical movements telling you to go to the jazz cafe. Enter the Jazz cafe and you'll find the their! Chase him out the door and the chase begins.

Step 20. Chase him on the scooter until you get to the end where he jumps into a speed boat and makes his getaway. Pick up the key card and then go to the museum. Talk to the guy and he'll give you a package. Scan the painting. It should say to go to the museum on Early Poptropica.

Step 21. Go into the blimp and go to Early Poptropica. Go to the museum and talk to the lady in purple. She'll give you a key.

Step 22. Go back to Counterfeit island and go to the country side. Go into the house by using the key. Pull back the painting on the top floor. It's the scream! Then the lights will turn out and you will be taken somewhere.

Step 23. Somewhere underground... the black widow (AKA the museum security guard!) will talk to you for a minute. Roll up to the other mysterious guy and he'll untie you. Then walk into the other room.

Step 24. Dodge all of the museum security guards and get to the top floor. Use your security card to enter. Catch all the paintings and when the black widow gets angry turn the lever to push the guy up. When he gets to the top he'll knock over the Black widow and say: "Case closed."

Step 25. Talk to the lady in purple and then visit the museum. She'll give you 100 credits and an island medallion. Congrats! You just finished Counterfeit island! Onwards to Reality TV!

Steamworks creature....AND TRAILER AT LAST!

Hey peeps, new PCB post! Here it is:

All right, so the question is: If you come across a strange robot lying dormant in a wasteland, should you poke it? 9 times out of 10, it's probably not a good idea. But I poked this one. It unfurled some crazy robot arms.

Then the visor over its face started to slide upward. I braced myself for its evil mechanical visage.

Well, not bad so far...

Look at that! He's smiling. Maybe we're going to get along.

BINARY BARD

Oh, binary bard, Binary bard, Binary bard...don't you realize sharkboy's already Shown us what that robot thing does in the official steamworks trailer? Wait. Official steamworks trailer? Show us! Alright:

The steamworks creature moves! I REALLY DIDN'T KNOW THAT!

This post is very interesting. It tells us that the steamworks creature moves! If you think that is the most amazing thing you've ever heard, wait until you hear te rest of the post!

Imagine my surprise when I came across a strange-looking machine on Steamworks Island. The place is full of old gears and pulleys and things, but most of it is rusted out and hasn't been used for years. This one looked a little different -- different enough to pique my curiosity.
I don't know what you do when you're in an unfamiliar place and you come across some strange being that's curled up in a defensive position, but I know what I do: I poke it. So that's what I did.

Whoa! It moved. And there were a lot more suprises in store.

BINARY BARD
Incredible hey? It doesn't just move! I'm guessing he'll pick you up and enable you to fly! Now that would be awesome! In other thoughts the poll which asked you how much TV do you watch on the weekend has ended. Here are the results:

3rd place: 18-24 hours
Tying 2nd place: 2-4 hours and what's TV?
1st place: zero hours

Aaah... good to see people are too busy doing BETTER stuff than watching TV. Sorry for offending all the square eyes out there, but how about 30- 60 minutes? Hmm? Sound average? That sounds more balanced!

Reality TV island walkthrough in 10 steps!

Reality TV island walkthrough
Okay, so you'd think that since this is a newish island it would be longer right? Wrong! It's almost as short as Early Poptropica! Anyway, here it is:
Step 1. Walk into Mike's market.

Step 2. Go right, into the donuts section... oh this part is going to be good but no you don't get to eat the donuts. Darn! Anyway, talk to the guy with the magazine and he'll remember that Reality TV is on in less than 24 hours, and run and drop his magazine. Pick it up.

Step 3. Click on your tabloid in you items and click on the entry form card. It should be separated from the items.

Step 4. Go into the Wayside motel and grab a cheap pen. Then go to the phone and call 555 7383. You should call Pete's pizza. When they ask you where you want it ordered, say room 4B.

Step 5. Go outside and the pizza lady's there already! She'll say that she doesn't know where room 4B is and gives it to you to deliver. Knock on room 4B and Bucky Lucas will let you in.

Step 6. Bucky will take the pizza from you. Then say to him: I could really use that grand prize! He'll give you a stamp. Go into your items and click use on the stamp card.

Step 7. Go to TV world, jump up to the third floor and click on the biggest tv. The words: post your entries to 123 star avenue. Your Poptropican should automatically write this down on the entry form.

Step 8. Go to the mail box and click on the mailbox. Now wait 5 seconds and you'll win! Jump in the helicopter and begin the show!

Step 9. Okay, so here's how it works: (If you've seen survivor it works like that) You verse a certain amount of contestants in each challenge. At the end of each challenge everyone gets the chance to vote someone off. The person who gets the most votes gets voted off. Whoever wins the day's challenge cannot be voted off. In the last challenge the loser gets voted off, and the winner wins the show. Here's the Poptropicans you'll be versing:
Betty Brownie
Betty Jetty
Black Widow
Bret Batter
Busy Bob
Cathy Codex
Chef Jeff
Director D.

Grandpa Grum
Helen Hiker

Hippie Harry
Lassie Lasso
Magic Mervin
Merry Muse
Ned Noodlehead

Coconut catch: Be the first to catch 20 coconuts from the monkeys. This challenge is quite hard.

Shuffleboard: Get your puck closest to the middle in 3 rounds.

Step 10. If you win then collect your 100 credits and medallion, and enjoy being famous! (by reality tv locals)

Skullduggery island walkthrough

Skullduggery island walkthrough

Step 1. Enter the Stinky generals shop.

Step 2. Go to the right and click on the broken mirror to get it.

Step 3. Exit the shop and walk over the bridge at the right. Then go back, only go under the bridge instead of over.

Step 4. Click on the shiny doubloon to get it.

Step 5. Go back to the stinky general store and click use on your doubloon in your items. You should get given the feed.

Step 6. Exit the store and use the feed near the nearby chickens. The man should give you one of his chickens.

Step 7. Go over the bridge to the right again and use your chicken. The man should give you a blue candle.

Step 8. Go in the house to the very right.

Step 9. Use your blue candle. You should be able to read the document.

Step 10. Go out of the house, back over the bridge, and jump up to where the telescope is to the left.

Step 11. Use your broken mirror, and look to the far left through the telescope. You should see a raft. Click on your broken mirror to send out signals to the raft. It should come to the shore.

Step 12. Enter the raft! Raise your anchor by pressing spacebar and go to the island to the far right.

Step 13. Go to the trading post and click sell medicine. Then click sell the max. Then click buy grain and click buy the max.

Step 14. Exit the trading post and click on the parrot on the barrel to the left. Jump in the water without going in your raft, and then click on the parrot on the left window on the house above the trading post. Jump on the chimney on the house to the very right. Click on the parrot on top of the tree to the very right. Click on the pirate on top of the tower to the left. Then enter Petey's pirate pub.

Step 15. Get the cracker on the top floor to the left.

Step 16. Exit the pub and go back on top of the tower. Use your cracker. Click on the pirate and he should give you part of the map!

Step 17. Get back in you raft and sail down to the island to the bottom right.

Step 18. Go to the trading post and click sell spice. Sell the max. Then buy the max amount of grain.

Step 19. Exit the trading post. This next part can get frustrating. The idea is to turn all the lights on but when you turn one on another goes. Run around and click on the lights in this order: the 4th light, the 2nd light, then the 1st light. Once you've done this a map should appear. Grab the map!

Step 20. Get back in your raft and sail to the bottom left island that's displayed on the map. If it's not displayed on the map then sail for your  life! You don't want captain crawfish catching you! You'll go there later!

Step 21. Go to the trading post. This time, instead of me telling you what to trade I'm going to tell you the teqnique. What you always do is sell the item that you have which is worth the most on that island (eg: grain for $420) and then click sell the max. Once you've done this then buy the product that is cheapest (eg: silk: $120) then click buy the max. You must go in a clockwise direction from island to island in order. Otherwise this teqinique will not work

Step 22. Jump up to the very top of the screen where a building is. Jump on top of the building and then jump onto a nearby post. Here you'll find a cannon starter kit. Collect it!

Step 23. Keep going left until you find a keg. Push the keg all the way to the ground. Push it directly under the big skull's golden tooth. Now run to the cannon to the left and click on it. If you positioned the keg right, the cannon ball should hit the keg and explode the golden tooth in the making. Collect the map piece that appears in place of the golden tooth!

Step 24. Get back in your raft and sail to the island to the north west.

Step 25. Go to the trading post and use the tequnique I mentioned in Step 21.

Step 26. Get into the water where the dragon's head is, and then jump on the dragon's head. It's tail should pop out of the water with a mallet. Collect the mallet.

Step 27. Use the mallet and your poptropican should ring the bell causing fish to come out of the water. Watch where the fish jump, and then move the fisherman to the spot where the fish jumped. He should give you the map piece in the fish's mouth.

Step 28. Go to the trading post and use the teqnique from step 21.

Step 29. Get back in the raft and sail to the island to the north east.

Step 30. Run to the very right of the screen where you'll find 3 ferns. Jump up and make them swing in this order. First the 3rd fern, then the 1st fern, the 2nd fern. When you do this in this order a map piece should fall. Grab it!.

Step 31. Look at your map with all the pieces put together. Skullduggery island should appear! Here begins the BIG REPEATETIVE ADVENTURE! Get back in your raft. Okay, so you if you were having a bit of a stroll all the islands you may have noticed that there were poptropicans you could hire for a certain amount of doubloons. You may have also noticed that at the Dragon's cove, you can customize your ships! Your goal is to hire all the Poptropicans, and get the best ship you can get. How are you ever going to earn enough doubloons? Here are some tips:
Tip 1. Use the trading teqnique I mentioned in step 21.
Tip 2. Sail in a clockwise direction starting at parrot port.
Tip 3. DO NOT visit skullduggery island until I say.
Tip 4. When you earn enough money to buy or hire a Poptropican or ship, buy them! Always get the cheapest first.
Tip 5. Every time you have enough money to get a better ship, get it! Don't skip a ship and buy the one after that. The better the ship, the more space, the more space, the more you can sell, the more doubloons you get, the more ships you can buy. By buying the latest ships, I finished skullduggery island in less than a day!
Tip 6. Hire EVERYBODY. The more help you get, the better!

Step 32. By reading this step, you must of hired everybody, and brought the Phoneix warship for a little less then 1 million doubloons. You have? Then read on. Okay, now finally, we can sail down near Skullduggery island and fight captain crawfish! Go down to the very bottom left and try and find captain crawfish.  When you find him, don't worry, I have a carefully planned, cunning, smooth plan that I have been working on for hours: CRASH INTO SKULLDUGGERY ISLAND AND SHOOT LIKE CRAZY!!! You'll loose a lot of your health bar, but if you're shooting madly, Captain crawfish's ship should sink first.

Step 33. Once you've defeated captain crawfish, go back to the middle island where you started. Aaah... It's good to be back!

Step 34. Go to the governor's house and talk to him. He should  give you a map of where the treasure is and a bone shovel.

Step 35. Go to Skullduggery island, (yes, actually dock!) and use your bone shovel 6 paces east of the flag.

Step 36. Sit back, relax, and watch the rest! At the end you'll get the medallion and 100 credits! Congrats! You just finished one of the longest islands!

Mythology island walkthrough in 30 steps

Mythology island is the second longest island in Poptropica. Skullduggery is the longest. Here's the walkthrough for it.

Step 1. Go into the museum

Step 2. As soon as you go in there should be some animation of Hades, Zeus and Poseidon fighting. Keep going right until you find a statue with a starfish on it. Collect the starfish.

Step 3 Exit the museum and go left to the tree of immortality.

Step 4. Climb up the tree to the very top. There you should find a satyr. (half goat half human) He'll tell you that the nymphs have spread his. Honey throughout the tree, and asks you to find them. You get a few seconds to find all of his honey, and if you find it all then he'll create a secret pathway to the golden apple.

Step 5. Take his passageway and pick the apple.

Step 6. Zeus appears! Gee he seems angry! Of course on an island like this, picking an apple is a big deal! Anyway, once Zeus has gone blah blah blah then he'll give you a scroll. Examine it, then leave the tree.

Step 7. Speak to Athena and she says to look in the trees for her help.

Step 8. Go right past the museum to the temple of Groves and enter the temple.

Step 9. Grab a reed pipe and then go to the statue holding a reed pipe to ask how to learn to play it. After you've learn't how to play it the statue will give you some sheet music that you'll use later.

Step 10. Go out of the temple and just keep going left past the tree of immortality into the garden of the sphinx. Turn on or the leavers and lower all the bridges until the water is flowing to the ground. Then take the flower. Also grab the pomegranates.

Step 11. You'll see a door near the sphinx which has colors and numbers on it. Pull out your reed pipe and play the same colors as on the door in the same order as it says on the door. The door will open. Go inside!

Step 12. Keep going left until you find the Minotaur. Ask him for his nose ring and he'll say that he only grants wishes to people who can make there way through the labyrinth.

Step 13. Enter the labyrinth. Make your way through the maze until you find someone who calls himself the pan. The pan advises you about the bone puzzle.

Step 14. Click on the puzzle, and take 6 of the bones away so  you leave the word TEN made out of bones. The door should open.

Step 15. Keep making your way through the maze until you come across a poster with a Minotaur on it. Click on it, and you'll see snakes coming out of the holes in it. The idea is to click on the fast red eyed snakes 3 times. The easiest way to do this is to just keep clicking in the same spot until a red eyed snake appears. Once you've done this the door opens and you exit the labyrinth.

Step 16. Ask the Minotaur for his ring and he'll give it to you! Exit the place.

Step 17. Go back to the grove of temples and jump off the cliff to where hades is. Rub off all the graffiti and then talk to the boy. He'll give you one drachma.

Step 18. Go up into the temple of Poseidon and use your starfish as an offering. The door will open. Enter.

Step 19. At the beach you'll find Aphrodite. Talk to her and she'll give you a quiz. If you complete the quiz she'll give you a teleportation mirror.

Step 20. Dive into the water and keep swimming until you reach an underwater cave. Enter it.

Step 21. Once you've entered the cave you'll find the Hydra. Wait for one to strike and then jump and land on it's head. Keep doing this until you've killed all of them. Then collect another item for Zeus' list.

Step 22. Exit the cave and keep swimming along until you find a clam. Wait for it to open and then collect the pearl inside. Then surface.

Step 23. Go into Hades' temple and use the pomegranates as an offering. The door will open up so go inside.

Step 24. Jump down to the bottom of the pit until you reach the river Styx. When you get there ask the ferryman Charon to help you get across the river in his boat. He'll say yes. Avoid all of the obstacles in the river and you'll eventually get to the other side.

Step 25. Pull out your pipe and play the sheet music that the statue gave you. This should put the Cerberus to sleep allowing   you to grab a whisker from them.

Step 26. Using your magic mirror, teleport yourself back to the main street, then go and talk to Athena. She'll tell you that she learn't something about the items. Then you have to assemble each of the clues from each item in order to spell out: Whoever wields the five sacred items will rule all of Poptropica! Zeus will appear and steal your items, and then Athena begs you to ask Hercules to help you. Hercules is located I the hero hut.

Step 27. Go inside the hero hut and ask Hercules to help you. He'll agree, so teleport yourself to Poseidon's temple. In the underwater maze, Hercules will knock down a rock so you can enter Poseidon's throne room! Talk to Poseidon and he'll give you his trident.

Step 28. Teleport yourself to Hades kingdom and Hercules will move a rock for you. Now you can enter Hades' throne room! Talk to Hades and he'll give you his crown. Exit the throne room and teleport to the area with a lightning bolt.

Step 29. Hercules will smash open the padlock on a gate so you can enter. Once you enter Hercules will try and fight a snake, but it turns out to be medusa who turns him into a statue. From here run right until you find an Aeolus. Give him your drachma and he'll give you a bag of wind. Use it to fly up to Zeus' throne room.

Step 30. Light up all the statues in Zeus's throne room and Zeus will offer a fight. Dodge Zeus's attacks and shoot him with lightning bolts. Grab clouds for more life. Once you defeat him Athena will give you a medallion and 100 credits. Congragulations! You finished Mythology island! Oh, and did you know that you can still use Hades' crown and Poseidon's trident to make you bigger and orange?!

Another post! The creators must love their coffee!

Hey! Yet another post!
You probably already know that when you're in a multiplayer room on Poptropica, you can click the emote buttons on the side of the screen to make your character smile, cry, pout, and jump for joy. Did you know you can also do these elsewhere in the game?

A simple keyboard combination will allow you to use any of the emotes during your adventures, which lets your character react to the story as it happens.

Press Ctrl+Shift+1 to laugh at pompous jerks.

Press Ctrl+Shift+2 to cry when you receive bad news.Press Ctrl+Shift+3 to blow your stack at a faun who's giving you guff. And press Ctrl+Shift+4 to celebrate getting a new item. That's not all! You can combine some of these emotes to create brand-new ones that you won't see in any common room. First, start the angry emote by pressing Ctrl+Shift+3. Once your character's face is red, but before his head pops off, enter either the happy or the sad emote!

New emotes

Another post! Gee, the creators are getting busy
Today we added a new Gold Card item to the store. It's called Smiley Potion. Use it like the Love Potion. You can choose one of three smiley faces to attach to another Poptropican or even yourself.

I decided to put on a disguise and try it out on Spy Island. Yeah, I know. I'm pretty sneaky
See ya soon!

New ad: Diary of a wimpy kid movie!

Greetings American's Australian's, Europeians and whatever other country you may come from. Poptropica has released a new ad at a few mainstreets including Skullduggery island. This ones averting the Diary of a wimpy kid movie. (there's been slot on Poptroppica about Diary of a wimpy kid, hasn't there?) Anyway, inside the ad's building (the school)you'll find a movie trailer, a link to the cheese touch game and Greg in a wrestling suit. When you ask Greg what he's been doing, he says he's just written in his Diary. Then he says that you should try it and gives you a diary and a wrestling suit. Hold it! A few things wrong here: Greg is inside the school right? Well he's also on the mainstreets. Maybe he teleports himself into the building while you enter. But the Poptrooican out the front says that he's in there at this very moment! So the only possible explanation is that the Poptropican inside the school is a fake. A hologram. This would explain why they look different, why he calls his diary a diary instead of a journal, and why he gives that wrestling suit as if it looks cool. (he hates the suit in the book!) In short, it is impossible that comic kid created this ad, because comic kid is Jeff Kinney, the author of Diary of a wimpy kid, so he would know him well. Phew! Alright, I'm done!

Randomizer! (yeti yeta)

Hey, again. Lately I posted the complete skullduggery island walkthrough for you!
Captain Crawfish: You don't have to tell the world how to defeat me!

Dafster: Ahem, captain Crawfish, I defeated you. Your not supposed to be here!

Captain crawfish: Oh,sorry!
Dafster: Anyway, I'll be posting walkthroughs for other islands soon, but until then, I'll leave you with the PCB's latest post

Poptropica Tips and Tricks: The randomizer
Poptropica has lots of great costumes and accessories that you can buy from the store, or costumize from the characters you meet on your adventures. But did you also know that you can get a random costume any time you want?

It's simple: just press Ctrl+Shift+R and an entirely new Poptropican will appear. Everything will be different, from hair style to accessory. Here's some of what you might see.

Just a handsome pirate hanging around on Skullduggery Island. And then:

A pink-colored athlete.

A suave-looking fella in sunglasses.

This last guy looks like my accountant.

Be careful, though. Once you switch costumes using the randomizer, there's no way to switch back right away! (Unless it's a costume you bought in the Poptropica Store. Those stay in your inventory.)

Speaking of which, where did I put my eyepatch?

CAPTAIN CRAWFISH

Ahem! Captain crawfish! I told you before: I've beaten you! (sigh) nevermind. Anyway, that last part of the post where he aid that you couldn't change back unless you have the costume is wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong! You can change back IF you have a magic mirror!
Captain crawfish: Okay, but you only have to say wrong once. Whup! I talked!
Dafster: you've been talking to the Ultra smart guy haven't you?!

Cell phone costumes

Hey! DafstR here! The ultra smart guy has agreed to not cut in to any of my posts.
Ultra smart guy: Yep, I'm not gonna... Whup!
Dafster: (sigh) Anyway here's the Poptropica creators latest post:

In Nabooti Island, one of the items you acquire to help complete your quest is a cell phone. Did you know that you can also use it for fun?

First, go to the Mountains of the Moon and enter the cave at the top of the mountain. Pick up the cell phone in the bottom left corner of the cave. Then, start dialing for costumes!

Dialing "911" will get you this lovely police hat.

In real life, you dial "411" to get information. In Poptropica, you dial it so that you can get a brain that already has all the information.

If you're looking to impress your friends with your incredible computer sk1llz, this next costume is for you. Dial "1337" for these elite threads.

That looks spectacular with the brain hair. I sense a fashion trend!

CAPTAIN CRAWFISH
Alright, probably not a fashion trend, once you've got that costume on, you look like a... oh never mind. You may of also realized the new poll! The question is: how much TV do you watch on the weekend. You can answer 18-24 hours, 2-4 hours, none at all, or what's TV?If your answer is neither of these then just vote to the nearest amount of hours, OK? Cool.

Special guest and the pest control

Okay, so Poptropica announced it's special guest: Greg Heffley from diary of a wimpy kid. Now come on, who would know that? The picture looked loads like an alien! I really don't know how that could look like Greg Heffley, how do those two little hairs on that Greg heffley looking head look like Greg heffley? I mean really...

Real ultra smart guy: He knew it was Greg.
Dafster: Grrr... fine Mr. Smart guy, if you know everything then how about you tell me what to do next? Ooooh, finding it hard hey? Well then...

Real ultra smart guy: Get on with the post.

Dafster: your despicable... Any way, here's wha the
creators had to say about Greg:

Poptropicans, please welcome the wimpy kid himself to Poptropica!

Greg Heffley is waiting for you on the Main Street of
your favorite Island with some exciting
news. Visit any Poptropica Island for the scoop!

BLACK WIDOW
Hmmm... Fine it does look like Greg. If you go and see him he'll say to come back on Thursday to see the cover of his next book! Then when you come on Thursday he'll probably say to come back on Sunday to find out when it comes out. In case this happens then I'll tell you: it comes out November the 9th. I think the creators are posting almost every day, and when they don't they make up for it by posting extra the next day! See, they also sent this post on the same day:

This week we're going to be sharing some neat tips and tricks to help you get a little more from Poptropica. We've hidden a lot of fun easter eggs in the game. You may have found some already!

Have you ever noticed how many of the background objects in Poptropica are interactive? Sometimes even more than you'd think. Take the crab that's crawling around the first screen of Time Tangled Island.

He certainly looks mopey. But he'll look even more mopey if you click on him.

See how he gets squished? Well, just see what happens if you keep clicking on him real fast!

Yikes! He explodes. Your Poptropican has to dodge the debris.

Don't worry, though: he'll come back together and be good as new in no time.

The same cannot be said for the roaches that infest Bucky's hotel room on Reality TV Island.

Those little buggers move fast. If you can catch up with them, here's what happens:

If you leave the room and come back inside, they'll be ready to be squashed all over again.

Have you found any more clickable objects in Poptropica?

CAPTAIN CRAWFISH

Plus, special Poptropica membership cards are coming soon! They just keep getting busier don't they?

Real ultra smart guy: gradually...

Dafster: that's it! Would you stop...

Raving rabbids travel in time

Hey all! I've told you about rayman origins, but I haven't told you about Raving rabbids travel in time! I'm guessing most of you aren't too keen on those . So let me tell you which games are te good ones: Rayman raving rabbids, Rabbids go home and now raving rabbids travel in time. Raving rabbids travel in time isn't actually out yet though. It comes out November the 11th and I'm guessing it has NO minigames! Check out the website here:

Links to the right

Yo! It's Dafster here! You may of come across those links on the right hand side. Well I have some advice for you: Click on them! One of them is a link to the Rayman origins official website, another goes to the ubiart website, and note that two of the links go to Poptropica because that is very important! And who could forget my cafepress shop! Anyway, if you happen to be on Poptropica and are in a room where you can meet other poptropicans, then watch out for me! My Poptropican's name is comical hippo and he looks like my avatar at the top of this blog. I should have a multiverse party! Yeah, I like that idea! How about it?

Dafster:Hey! Great idea!

A special guest is coming to Poptropica!

Greetings, Poptropica fans!

exciting new development: Next week, a special

Vampires Invade Poptropica
Are you a fan of vampires? We've got a whole new set of vampire looks just waiting to be costumized. Check them out in the Poptropica store!

MASTER MIME

Okay,so erm... Did you see how it looked like an eight eyed monster from outer space?

Real ultra smart guy: how about we talk about the vampire costumes?

Dafster: Okay, well for starters, why is there only one costume for boys, and 3 costumes for girls? I bet this has something to do with the eight eyed alie...

Real ultra smart guy: Forget the eight eyed alien!!!!!!

Dafster: Sorry, in other news there is a new ad on the main screen for steamworks island! Sounds pretty cool! If you were wondering why there aren't any pictures in my posts, it is because I am posting with my iPod so I can't add any pictures. Anyway, Bye for now.

The hub for steamworks island

UPDATED
We've done a lot of detail work on the Hub for Steamworks Island. Before we can call it done, we've got to give it one more pass to make sure it's got character.

Ahh... that's the stuff. The Hub looks old, weathered, and worn. It looks like it was once a city on a hill. Now, it's grungy and decayed. And dangerous.

There's lots more to see and do on Steamworks Island, and we'll be showing you more soon. In the meantime, maybe we can all try to figure out what that blue thing is doing.

BINARY BARD

As you may know, Poptropica is soon releasing a new island called "Steamworks island". They have sent a few posts about how they are creating a building for the island called "The hub" heres how they do it:

Details, details...
The Hub on Steamworks Island continues to evolve. Now, all of the elements are colored in, and we've added some detail to try to tell the story of the island.

This version of the Hub is overgrown with vines and weeds. The wobbly angles of its structure are making it look like the whole thing could topple at any moment. And, of course, there's now a sign telling everybody where they are.

Almost done!

Filling in the Hub
Time for a pop quiz: Can you tell the difference between the picture we posted yesterday and the one below?

Most of the background elements still look the same as they did yesterday: flat and monochromatic. We're adding more detail to the Hub on Steamworks Island. We've colored in some of the more important foreground objects. They really pop off your screen!

That doorway in the upper-lefthand side of the screen looks mighty intriguing, wouldn't you say?

The Hub takes shape
The Hub started life as all of Poptropica does, as a simple idea and a sketch. Before long, we take that idea and turn it into reality. But did you know how many different revisions a single scene takes before it gets the Poptropica stamp of approval?

At first glance, this might look like a well developed scene.

But look a little more closely. Why is almost everything the same color? Why does it all look so flat? And what the heck is that blue thing on the right, anyway?

No, the Hub isn't done yet. Not even close.

What's all the Hub-bub?
One of the places you'll visit on Steamworks Island is what we call the Hub. It's a sight to see! A rickety tower, a massive drawbridge, and pot-bellied steam stoves powering everything. Safe to say that you've never seen anything like the Hub before.

Er, at least, you won't have seen anything like it. To start with, this marvel of modern engineering just looked like this:

Yes, it's hard to see what all the hubbub is about -- yet. Just wait until you see how this one develops!

BINARY BARD

Welcome to DafstR blog!

Congragulations to whoever is reading this! This is my very first post, so when I reach 100 posts or so, you can say that you were here from the beggining! So the first questions on your mind are probably:
1. What is DafstR blog?
2. What sort of posts will it have?

Well, to answer the first question, DafstR blog isn't going to be about ME. DafstR blog is a blog especially designed for walkthroughs and cheats for games I play like Poptropica and Rayman. To answer the 2nd question, I will post about posts on the Poptropica creators blog and news about Rayman and more. Hope you get the most out of reading future posts.
